Abstract

“Communicative freedom” in Wolfgang Huber’s theology: A critical engagement with modernity
In this article it is shown that the concept “communicative freedom”, developed by die German theologian Wolfgang Huber, provides important resources for the church to contribute to the discourse on freedom in so-called modern societies. Huber articulates the German Reformation’s rediscovery of Christian freedom in such a way as to engage modernity critically.
