This paper is a case study of the Network for African Congregational Theology, NetACT, a network of theological institutions in the Presbyterian and Reformed tradition in Sub- Saharan Africa. It is conveyed from the vantage point of the researcher and the institution that he serves. It describes the mission and goals of the network and tells the story of its establishment. The hypothesis is that through networking and the sharing of resources theological institutions can achieve goals that individual institutions cannot achieve on their own. The article then discusses the goals and to what extent they were achieved as well as which goals proved to be unrealistic.Published
