Abstract

The purpose of the article is to describe the use of praise in worshipping God. “Praise and worship” seminars are becoming quite popular in the Dutch Reformed Church, but the theological context of and relationship between key concepts are not well defined. This article discusses the concepts “worship”, “praise” and “thanksgiving” and their relationship to one another.
